Thank you for participating in our recent poll regarding whether we should purchase an organizational membership in Western Crop Innovations (WCI).

The feedback from you was valuable and provided important clarity. With consideration given to the multiple emails and phone calls received, the Alberta-British Columbia Seed Growers board of directors have determined that there is not sufficient support to pursue a membership with WCI at this time.

Our organization remains a major believer in fostering research and innovation to the benefit of our members and western Canadian farmers. We will continue to support WCI in those efforts by sharing extension of their research findings through our bi-annual publication of the Alberta Seed Guide.

We would like to thank the members that participated in the survey, especially during a busy time with an extended harvest.
