I want to direct you to the Canadian Federation of Agriculture (CFA)’s “Stop the Strike” campaign and ask that you help share this urgent message regarding the negative impact that a labour disruption in Canada’s Class I railways would have on our agriculture sector. 

As Canada’s largest general farm organization, the CFA is leveraging their membership to help communicate to Minister MacKinnon (Minister of Labour and Seniors) and Prime Minister Trudeau that our reputation for supplying the world with quality agricultural products is greatly threatened by unnecessary disruptions in the supply chain.

By adding your voice to this effort, we can urge the federal government to utilize all available tools to prevent a lockout or strike. As many of you know, supply chain disruptions have become increasingly frequent here at home. These disruptions are actively impacting our trade relationships and raising concerns among our international partners.
